NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING &
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Westport
Planning Commission will hold a public hearing
at their regular monthly meeting on September
19, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. or shortly thereafter at
the Westport Council Chambers located at 506
North Montesano St.
Kathy & Lynda Ferraro purchased the short
subdivision known as Lighthouse Dunes Addition
generally located at the western most end of
Sprague Avenue. They are proposing a new lot
layout that encompasses the entire property
including a strip that runs along the northern
most boundary of their property. This strip is
presently zoned as Mixed Use Tourist Commercial.
The owners would like to have it rezoned to a
Residential 1 zone to match the rest of their
property. This zoning requirement is consistent
with the city of Westport master plan, and would
not affect any other property owners.
The purpose of the public hearing is to hear
public testimony regarding an updated proposal
to rezone Parcel #616121212010 from its prior
zoning classification of MUTC1 to Rl.
The application materials are available for
review at the Westport City Hall located at 604
North Montesano Street, Westport, WA 98595.
All interested persons are invited to attend and
may comment in person or by letter. Written
comments should be addressed to the City of
Westport Planning Commission, PO Box 505,
Westport, WA 98595 and must be received no later
than 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2017.
Any appeals of the Planning Commission's
decision may be made to the City Council in
accordance with Chapter 17.32.090 Westport
Municipal Code to the address above within 10
days of the date of the Planning Commission's
